We are an evolving group of cyclists who ride or compete in a number of disciplines including Road, Mountain, Cyclocross, BMX, and Adventure Touring. We are mainly a recreational ride club, not a race team, our group is comprised of cyclists of all types and interests: from kids learning to ride, or groups out enjoying a tour, to highly competitive racing individuals and teams competing in and outside of the state.

* Supporting the local high school cycling teams
* Supporting youth involvement in cycling
* Volunteering at community activities
* Hosting a range of cycling events from club rides to large scale events
* Advocating responsible cycling, safety, and fitness
* Connecting the community to our sponsors

Our mission is to create a bicycling community which helps develop and support all levels of recreational, adventure, and competitive cyclists, with the goal to grow the sport and connect to the community through advocacy, education, fitness and adventure.
From BMX to Cycle Cross, Mountain Bike to Road, riders of all disciplines are represented in our club roster.
We also strive whenever possible to give back to the community with public events, kids programs, and support of cycling overall.

Hi SVVC Team members,

Hope you're all recovered from the excitement of watching Chris 3PO win the TDF again (with Welsh wingman G2D2 finishing 15th).

Now for something completely different ...

What: Lake Hancock Out and Back Gravel Adventure Ride
When: 6pm tonight (Thursday 7/28) be ready to roll out at 6pm. Plan to be out for 3 hours.

Where: Meet in front of The Bindlestick in downtown Snoqualmie
Pace: This is a challenging ride with a fair bit of climbing on loose terrain. Roughly 30-35 miles with 2,500 feet of elevation gain. Cyclocross or mountain bike required. The pace will be spirited/high to make it back before 9 pm. As ride leader I will carry tools, spare tubes, pump, basic first aid kit, bear spray, whistle, map, GPS and phone, but ... please come prepared and bring plenty of water.

*** Campbell Global Forest Pass Required ***
$8 for a one day individual pass, $50 for an annual, family pass.

Alternatively, there has been a strong turn-out for the Rattlesnake out and back gravel ride - which also departs from the Bindlestick at 6 pm on Thursday nights - so that is likely to happen again tonight too, but please note there is no official leader tonight.
